Amanda Gayle, Ph.D., HSP-P

Director of Behavioral Health

Amanda earned her BA in Psychology from Wake Forest University, followed by a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Georgia’s Counseling and Testing Center and a post-doctoral fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in the Occupational Health Department, where she worked in both internal and external employee assistance programs.

Licensed in North Carolina, Amanda has been in private practice for over 15 years, providing individual and couples counseling primarily to adults with a wide range of presenting concerns. Her work has focused on cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, mood disorders, grief, relationship challenges, stress management, self-esteem, and overall well-being.

In addition to her clinical work, Amanda spent several years at Relias, where she authored APA-accredited continuing education courses for licensed behavioral health professionals
